NAMED GIVING AND SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

We provide opportunities to individuals and corporations who wish to restrict their gifts of $5,000 or more to a particular program or activity that resonates with their philanthropic or marketing goals. Sponsorship opportunities can bear your name, the name of a loved one, or your business. Sponsors will be recognized on our website and social media and in relevant publications and signage or may choose to remain anonymous.

The following are annual opportunities that can be paid in full or pledged to pay over time:

  • Sponsor our Medical Program for one year, a unique intervention that provides on-site primary medical care that keeps our tenants healthy, safe, and living longer.

  • Fund a Substance Use Counseling Program that would help more tenants with drug and alcohol issues by bringing trained professionals onsite to provide counseling and support.

  • Sponsor our Arts Programming in all three residences to inspire creativity of all kinds and beautify the residences with tenant art by covering the costs of supplies and instruction, including guest instructors and performing artists.

  • Sponsor our Gardening Program to green and beautify our streetscapes and garden spaces for tenants, our neighbors, and passersby.

Help subsidize our low-cost Meals Program, which includes a nutritious breakfast and lunch five days/ week, daily refreshments, holidays, and other special occasion meals at our residences.

Sponsor a Kitchen and Dining Room Makeover to include new equipment, tables, chairs, and supplies at one of our three residences.

  • Sponsor our Wellness Program that provides much-needed nutrition groups, exercise programs, smoking cessation, and recreational opportunities to tenants whose medications often include side effects such as weight gain and lethargy.

Update a Tenant Lounge with new furniture, lights, and audio/visual equipment in one of our three community gathering spaces.

  • Sponsor Tenant Outings and provide our impoverished residents with rare, healing opportunities for recreational and cultural excursions throughout the New York City Metropolitan area.

Name a Tenant Emergency Fund with a gift of $5,000 or more, and the fund will bear your name or the name of a loved one for one year. Tenants often come to us from the streets with no personal belongings and no money. Emergency funds help us get them clothing, personal care items, and food. Living off of $11/day, tenants can’t save for other necessities or emergencies, like refrigerators, microwaves, wall air conditioners, and medical equipment (dentures, hearing aids, etc.) that is often not covered by insurance.

Name a Tenant Education Fund with a gift of $5,000 or more, and the fund will bear your name or the name of a loved one for one year. Gifts will be used to launch expanded and more structured programming like computer & other tech skills, financial management, etc.

Sponsor a student intern. Provide a supportive learning environment for a student intern exploring a career dedicated to helping the homeless mentally find a home, hope & healing. The name of the internship will bear your name or the name of a loved one for one semester.
